From the Apartment you can enjoy a nice walk along the beachfront and coast line to Rothesay town centre around 2 miles away (7 minutes by car or 20min walk alongside coastline) or head in the other direction to the stunning Ettrick Bay Beach (on a clear day you can see the amazing views of nearby Arran).
Dunoon is not far either where you can catch the smaller ferry connection from Rhubodach to nearby Colintraive (just 5 minutes), where you could pop across for a day visit.
